STUDIO POLICIES
Booking
You must create a Flex in the City account to join classes. You can download our booking app here for IOS/Apple users and here for Android users.
You must sign and agree to our liability waiver to attend the studio.
We welcome you to use the +1 feature and bring a friend to class but please make sure you check in with your plus one that they are fit for class.
We welcome you to Flex no matter where you are starting from! With this in mind, group classes may not be suitable for you if you have any injuries, illness or physical impairment. Please contact us in advance of booking in this instance.
Arrival to the studio
Please make sure you arrive approximately 5 minutes before your class start time. If you are late, you may be refused entry to class as it’s not always safe to join a class after it has commenced. It is also disruptive to the teacher and other participants.
If you are late, your space may be given to someone waiting for a place in the class. If someone is given your place in this instance, they will not be removed should you turn up late.
Please ensure your phone is switched to silent so as to not disturb others in class.
We love when you share your Pilates experience on social media but please be mindful of others in the studio space when capturing content!
For private lessons, we endeavor to run on schedule but there may be times when we run a little late. We appreciate your patience and we will make sure you get your full session.
Clothing
Please wear comfortable workout clothing that you can move easily in. Please avoid buttons or zippers on clothes - these can damage our equipment and get in your way when lying down. No jewellery should be worn as it can be dangerous, distracting and can damage the equipment.
Socks must be worn in the studio and on the equipment for hygiene reasons. Sticky socks are a great option for comfort and safety.
Class Packs
Our class packs are all valid for 30 days. The class pack is activated not on the day of purchase but from the date of the first class used of the pack.
Any unused and expired class passes can be reactivated by purchasing a class pass extender in the ‘store’ section of the Glofox app.
Cancellations / no shows / what if i am unwell
We appreciate that you may not always be in a position to make a class you have scheduled. We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for group classes and a 24 hour cancellation policy for private lessons. Any class cancelled with less notice than the above will be a ‘late cancellation’ and is payable at full price. If you cancel a group class with less than 12 hours notice, your class pass will automatically be deducted from your account. Lessons abandoned after arrival, i.e., if you come to your lesson or class with an injury or illness and are unable to complete your session, that will be payable at full price. If you do not show up for a class or private lesson that you have booked, you will be charged as if you late cancelled the session. Please note that we do not have the capacity to consider class cancellations on a case-by-case basis.
All class cancellations should be done from your Glofox app. All private lesson cancellations may be done by emailing the studio at hello@flexinthecity.ie or phoning the studio on 021-2391700 or by text to 0857236543.
When you cancel a class with more than 12 hours for a group class and 24 hours to a private lesson, your class pass will be returned to your Flex in the City user account for you to book another class (not a refund to your bank account). You can then use this class pass to book your next class or private lesson.
We endeavour to maintain classes as scheduled, however sometimes we may need to cancel a class or substitute a teacher; in this instance, we will give you as much notice as possible.
